Vision and mission
The Hungarian LGBT Alliance works for a society where LGBT people can freely be who they are, and fully enjoy their human rights, equality before the law and freedom from discrimination.
To achieve this vision we:
- represent the interests and human rights of LGBT people effectively via fostering cooperation between Hungarian LGBT organizations and groups;
- tackle prejudice and discrimination against LGBT people and promote their equal opportunities and social inclusion via research, trainining, educational programs and awareness raising;
- foster the creation of an assertive, diverse and vibrant LGBT community in Hungary via strengthening LGBT organizations and initiatives.
